During the winter, you will also want to make sure to adjust some driving habits you have. This should include the speed at which you drive. Slowing down is important because you may have to encounter roads that are snow or ice covered. Make sure to warm the car up so you can get the oil and other fluids moving before you drive. You should also be aware of the dashboard warning lights for the your vehicle. If one of them illuminates, make sure to be aware of what it might be. Brake System Warning light

One light that might turn on is the brake system light. This could indicate that there an issue with your brake system in one way or another.
