As you drive this winter you will want to make sure that your vehicle is in the best condition possible. This includes bringing your vehicle in for regular maintenance inspections. We can check the parts and components for your vehicle and advise you on the options you have to repair them. If you notice an issue out of the norm with your vehicle, make sure to bring it in. Ignoring the issue can cause further damage and wear and tear to your vehicle. It can also result in a costly repair bill.
To help improve your visibility when you drive, make sure that the windshield is cleaned off. It should be free of road grime, dirt, frost, snow, and ice. By having a windshield with debris on it, you can be impairing your vision as you drive. Make sure to remove all the snow so it does not fly off and hit those that drive around you. You should also inspect the windshield wipers on your vehicle. They will need to be in good working order so that they can clean the windshield effectively. If they start to chatter or vibrate against the windshield, it may be time to have them replaced. You can bring the vehicle in and we can inspect the windshield wipers for you.
Also take a few minutes and check the headlights on your vehicle. The headlights not only allow you to see, but it will help others to see you as well. This is important because the lights will illuminate the road ahead of you incase there is an animal or object there. Check the taillights and blinkers as well. The blinkers are important because they will alert the other drivers to what direction you will be turning.
