When driving your vehicle on vacation this year, make sure to have it inspected so it is in proper working order. If you are not sure what needs to be inspected on your vehicle, make sure to contact us. Having the vehicle in for a bumper to bumper inspection will help ensure that it can run at top performance during your vacation travels. If there is an issue, it can be resolved and repaired as soon as possible. There are a few other important parts that will need to be inspected on the vehicle. All the tires should be inspected for the proper air pressure. You will want the tires to hold up when driving on the road. The tread should also be inspected to ensure it is efficient.

Have the car vacation ready by cleaning the windows of your Vehicle

You will also want to make sure that the windows are clean and clear. When the windshield is clear, you will have the best visibility possible for driving. Make sure to check the windshield wipers so that they are also in great condition. If there are chips or tears in the blades, then it will not clear the windshield as efficiently as it otherwise should. When the blades make a chatter or squeaking noise, then they can no longer properly clear the windshield as well. You will want to make sure that you check the rear window wiper as well. This is needed when you back up or need to see the traffic behind your vehicle.

Besides the windshield and side windows, you will also want to inspect the mirrors. By cleaning the side mirrors, you will be able to see objects that are behind or beside you. If the mirror is covered in mud, dirt, or road grime, then it will make it difficult to see vehicle that are attempting to pass you. You should also clean the rearview mirror that is mounted on your windshield. Over time this can become dirty, or even have fingerprints on it. When it is cleaned, then you will have the best visibility possible.
