Be Prepared for Winter with your Car

Prepared

You will want to be ready for the winter weather, and the best thing to do is bring your vehicle in for an inspection. This way we can check over the vehicle, bumper to bumper, for any issues. Ignoring an issue can lead to further damage and repairs in the long run. The vehicle should also be checked to ensure all the fluids are at the correct amount. If one is going low, often, make sure to bring that to our attention. We will check for a leak in the vehicle and fluid system.

Be Prepared by having a Clean Windshield

Also remember that you check the windshield washer fluid for your vehicle. This is an important fluid because it will help to remove grime and dirt away from the windshield as you drive. The washer fluid will also work for the back windshield, as long as you have a wiper equipped to it. It can also be beneficial if you keep an extra container or jug of washer fluid in your vehicle. That way you can refill it incase you run out at an inconvenient time. Having the washer fluid will help keep your windshield clean and clear.

Remember the Tires

Remember to check the tires of your vehicle as well. Each one should always be checked for the correct air inflation of them. If the air is low, the tires are not as effective and efficient. They should not be over inflated or underinflated when you drive. Doing so can result in permanent damage over time with them. If you are not sure how much air the tires should have, make sure to contact us. We can advise you on the amount. This should also include inspecting the spare tire of the vehicle. Doing so will help ensure the spare tire is ready to use if or when it is needed.
