Before winter arrives, you will want to inspect your vehicle so it is in the best operating condition possible. Make sure to schedule an appointment with us so that we can inspect the parts and components of your vehicle. By doing so, you can help ensure that they are working at top performance levels. If you are not sure how often to bring your vehicle in, make sure to contact us. We can alert you to what the correct schedule for maintenance should be. If you ever notice anything out of the normal with your vehicle or parts, make sure to bring it in as soon as possible so we can inspect the vehicle for you. Noticing an issue at the first sign and having it fixed can help you to save time, money, and stress in the long run.

One part that should be inspected on a regular basis is each tire for the vehicle. These are important because they are the only part that will make direct contact with the surface of the road. If the tire is flat or worn, it can cause the vehicle to use more fuel and power to have them rotate correctly. Make sure that the tires are not over inflated or under inflated. Tires that are over inflated are more prone to pick up sharp objects on the road. The tires will also wear inconsistently. Under inflated tires have a chance of blowing out when you drive. If you are not sure if the tires are inflated to the correct pressure, bring the vehicle in so we can inspect it for you.

Also make sure that the oil is inspected in your vehicle. The oil helps to lubricate the working parts when the engine operates. Without oil, the parts will wear against one another and cause extra strain on the parts. The oil should be changed on the recommended schedule to help keep it clean and fresh. If you are not sure of the correct oil change schedule, we can advise you on one. We can also check the oil filter for you. The filter is important because it will catch the dirt and contaminants that are in the oil. This reduces the chance these harmful parts will get into the engine and other moving parts of the vehicle. A clean oil filter and oil will help your vehicle to run more efficiently.
