As fall weather approaches, now is the time to have the vehicle brought in for an inspection. Make sure to schedule an appointment so that we can inspect the vehicle for you. Looking at parts such as the brake system, tires, windshield wipers, and fluid levels are important to keep your vehicle operating at the best efficiency and performance levels. If you notice anything out of the norm with your vehicle, it is better to have it taken care of before it becomes worse. This way other parts will not become damaged or wear out quicker than they should. You can save on time, money, and stress by making sure that the parts are always in the best condition possible when you operate your vehicle.

Check the Oil when Recommended

When inspecting the vehicle, make sure to check the oil. The oil is important because it helps to lubricate the engine and other moving parts. Without oil, the parts may wear against one another and cause extra strain and stress for the engine. Bring your vehicle in and we can inspect the engine and oil condition for you. If you are not sure how often to bring your vehicle in for an oil change, we can advise you on a recommended schedule based on your driving habits. If the oil is not changed, dirt and grime can collect in it. This makes the engine more difficult to run as you drive. It will also cause it to wear out sooner than it typically should.

Improve the Visibility

When you drive, having great visibility is important. Make sure to inspect the windshield for any cracks or divots. If there is damage to the windshield, bring the vehicle in so we can repair or replace the windshield if necessary. This way you can see the road in front of you without a crack impairing your vision. The windshield wipers should also be inspected on your vehicle. If they are in poor condition, make sure to have them replaced. You may notice signs of the windshield wipers starting to wear if they leave streaks or smudge marks when they operate. If this becomes more frequent, bring the vehicle in so we can replace the windshield wipers for you. Always make sure to check the headlights as well. Keeping the headlights illuminated efficiently will allow you to see the road ahead of you. It can also help warn on coming traffic where you are.

Inspect the Tires on your Vehicle

Another fall inspection to have done is to check the tires regularly. The air pressure, tread wear, and overall condition of the tires should be inspected. This will allow the tires to rotate and operate efficiently when you drive. Also make sure to bring the vehicle in so we can inspect the vehicle and tires for you. If there is an issue, we can alert you the problem and ways that it can be repaired. Having the tires inspected can help you to have a safe and reliable ride.
